Apologies for my strange behavior over the past few days. I would explain my actions, but I really have no time.

You see, I have recived a letter from my parents. They have started a fortune telling shop, and are asking me to come help...Meaning I must leave Sumabura behind. I am sorry, but I cannot refuse a request from my parents. I have a duty to them, and I must fulfill it.

I wish that I could say goodbye in person, but I must be off now to reach the next town by morning.

Goodbye, everyone.

{Heartswap}- Ah.
Ahem. I believe I have an apology to make to the entire school. I, Ganondorf, have behaved as a thuggish lout throughout my entire school career and I wish to make it up. Although I know that I can never be as lovely a person as Katrina, I am now devoting the rest of my school life to making up for all the stress I have caused the school.

I know there have been a lot of posts like this but I do really need help, so just bear with me for a little bit.

I've been having a lot of trouble with Katrina lately and I don't really know why. The little break I took helped with a few things, but not enough to really kick-start anything having to do with Katrina and I'm at the end of my rope because I really thought it had helped.

My problem is this: Whenever I go to write up an entry or journal comment for her, my brain locks up. Any writing I can do is forced, even the quick actions she might take. I don't really think it's a question of she doesn't have enough to do, so log suggestions while, appreciated, aren't really what I'm looking for.

I guess what I am looking for is something more along the lines of “What do you guys do for writers block?” Seriously, any help on this would be just wonderful, because I'd really rather not drop her if I can help it but the spark is more or less gone and I know it shouldn't be.

*A quick look-see over her journal brought an inquiry: What exactly do you get for the Pokenerd who loves to eat?"

A pre-cooked rotisserie chicken and a toy plastic pokeball, of course!

It's wrapped in some of that super-shiny Mylar wrapping paper with a quick "I do hope you enjoy it! Signed, Your Secret Santa" note.*

*sigh* And the award for latest mun goes to...

Knuckles: A fruit basket, of course, but also some warm winter gloves with some spikes she sewed in herself.
Ionia: This. She doesn't know how useful it'll be, but the salesperson talked her into it after a confusing and frustrating hour and a half.
Marine: And one for Marine too. Why do her friends have to have such confusing hobbies?..
Goose: A cushy car seat cover that hopefully fits over his gyrocopter seat and a case of glasses cleaner.
Sable: A book with a collection of advanced sewing/knitting techniques and a new embroidery kit.
Roselia: A jewelry box
Tony: A new set of winter clothes.
Slippy: A new holster for his blaster.
Smee: Some new modeling clay.
Rawk: A nice pair of dress pants and his speedo back. She would have returned the coupon too, but she didn't want him to think she was redeeming it.
Ganondorf: His rap CD back, along with a CD of classic waltzes.

Also, everyone who sent her anything, even if it was just a candy cane, gets a heartfelt letter of thanks, neatly handwritten in ink on elegant stationary.

Fortune smiles upon those who work

Hmmm...It recently occurred to me that I have not told fortunes in quite a long while. While I doubt it would be quite the same without the accoutrement that was stolen from me, I do believe it is about time to begin that again! Besides, I am profoundly broke. The last of my money was used to buy a new deck of Tarot Cards.

But is anyone still interested in my services? It has been quite a while since I have done them...So I suppose I shall fall back on an old standby:

If you will be coming for a fortune told tomorrow, then please do comment here and tell me!

EDIT: Oh, dash it all, it has been a while! I have not mentioned for those who are new that my services also include compatibility tests!

The special F-Zero race (or should that be "F-Zero race special" for all the fluff that separated the actual races?) was quite interesting...but never again shall I watch TV all day.

My eyes ache from the strain and I should not like to open them for a while. I doubt I will be watching for the rest of it, but I shall still be cheering on Mr. Falcon in spirit like Ionia said I should.

I do not wish to be a bother but...would anyone would be so kind as to bring a cup of tea to the room to soothe my weary head?

I suppose I have been neglecting this journal, as of late. I suppose life can go a bit too fast to record it at times and there's naught to be done about that, but I dislike leaving things to sit and be ignored.

The event of most note was the Transgendered Day of Remembrance candlelight vigil. I cannot say that I have been anywhere that would have had such an event...certainly not in Animal Forest. A truly beautiful gesture, and it was wonderful to be a part of it...

Oh yes, I had almost forgotten! Tony, would you be perhaps interested in an outing with me? Perhaps for a cup of coffee, or some such? You seem like such a nice boy, and I would quite like to get to know you better.

Hmmm...I must decide what to get everyone for Christmas! Quite the interesting holiday, I must say. Seems to resemble both Toy Day and the night Jingle comes to town...I have to admit, I prefer Jingle's legend to Santa's. There is a certain romance to Jingle, meeting a lone man on a cold and snowy night in the forest who gives a gift he designed and built himself. But perhaps I am just picking nits.

Ionia seems to be excited over a race, or some such thing. I hadn't heard of "F-Zero" until I came here, so I cannot help but be curious about it...Not the car racing so much, but the "across space" part of it tickles my fancy, just a touch.

Well, why not?

Katrina:
Basil the Chao. Her pet who she keeps in her room and takes on outings.

Fang: None.

Ulty:
Birdy. The little yellow duck/canary (I'm not sure) who sits on his head and pushes the button on his back when needed.

...And let me just jump the gun here what is patience

Jimmy T. (when/if I get him):
The Thang family, who he'll be writing frequent letters to. I'm pretty sure this would be counted as one slot, because he'll be writing them all collectivly.

Nothing wrong with a bandwagon if it is for something like what you are thankful for...

I am thankful for all the dear and wonderful friends I have met here. I cannot think I could list them all, but it is alright as they most certainly know who they are already!
I am thankful for Mother and Father. Although our time together was admittedly quite brief, they taught me many wise and helpful things. I do hope our paths cross again someday, but I still carry with me everything they have given me.
I am thankful that I have a roof over my head that is not made of leaky canvas.
I am thankful for Basil. He has been nothing but a joy to have around and more then worth braving that horrible machine over the ocean to retrieve him!
I am thankful for my precognition. Not to sound egotistical, but I am aware that it is a gift that not many have.
I am thankful that I have the opportunity to go to school. It has already been far more then I have ever imagined it could be and I still have a great while to go.

...This list feels incomplete somehow. Or perhaps it is the fact that I should be feeling thankful for these things every day and not just on a holiday when they say I am supposed to. On the other hand, it is nice to take a special occasion to acknowledge it, even if one feels this way the rest of the time.

Hmm. Thanksgiving.

I cannot say I've ever done anything particularly special for the holiday...If I am in a town I normally attend their Harvest Festival feast, but that event rarely coincides with my travels...Although I have met an interesting fellow named Franklin several times on the festival day. He was always headed off somewhere with armfuls of cutlery in his wings. Never did explain to me why...

And this year too, I find myself with no plans for the holiday. Has the school anything planned for us, or are the students assumed to have their own celebrations?

It seems Ionia and I have been visited by our resident burglar! How scandalous!

I...confess that I have not taken a full tally of everything that has been taken, but it seems that a good deal of my fortune telling acoutremont has been burgled! And this monster has seen fit to take Ionia's robots as well!

At least Basil was not kidnapped...I wish there was a way to speak with him and get a description, as he might have seen who it was. Most likely not, as I found him in the closet, hiding from whoever it was.

I do hope this thief is caught soon...I have had most of those things since I started telling fortunes. They mean a great deal to me.

What gifts, big or small, are you hoping to find under the tree this year?

It is a bit maudlin and overly sentimental to say, but I want no material gifts.

What I really wish for the holidays this year- what I have wished for three years previous- is to not be forced to spend them alone in the forest with no company but the chill of the night and the sounds of its inhabitants.

And I am fortunate that this year I shall get my wish.
